The seller growth fee: PH's newest deduction, explained

Since April 27, 2026, TikTok Shop Philippines deducts a seller growth fee from every delivered order: 1% for Electronics, Grocery and Lifestyle, 1.5% for Beauty & Personal Care, Fashion, Mom & Baby, and Health. Same base as commission — item price minus your discount, VAT inclusive.

What it replaced

Before April, the Bonus Cashback program charged its participants a 2% service fee. That fee went to 0%, and the program's benefits opened to all eligible sellers — eligibility being a Shop Experience Score of at least 2.8 or fewer than 36 violation points. The growth fee is what funds it.

So the math depends on where you started. Were you paying the 2% cashback fee? You now pay 1–1.5% instead — you're ahead. Weren't in the program? This is a straight new cost, softened only by the cashback perks you now get by default.

The details that bite

It stacks on top of commission, not inside it — a 7.3% fashion marketplace rate is really 8.8% once you add the growth fee. It applies to every seller, new-seller commission waiver or not. The one mercy: unlike the transaction and shipping service fees, it is refunded when an order is returned.

Which rate is yours?

The 1.5% list covers Fashion, all Baby & Maternity, Beauty & Personal Care, Health, and Kids' Fashion. Food & Beverages and Pet Supplies sit at 1%, as do Electronics and everything in Lifestyle. The fee calculator assigns it automatically from your category, and the full fee guide shows how it fits with the other four fees.
