TikTok Shop seller fees in the Philippines, explained
Five separate fees come out of every delivered order. Here's each one — what it's for, how it's calculated, and what changed recently. All rates are VAT inclusive and come from TikTok Shop's official Seller University pages, checked 2026-07-25.
1. Commission fee — the big one
Charged on every successfully delivered order. The rate depends on your product category and seller type: marketplace rates run 5.00% to 7.30%, mall rates 5.00% to 9.10%. The base is your item price minus your own discount — shipping and TikTok's platform discounts don't count.
Say you sell shoes at ₱1,900 with a ₱120 discount. Commission on the ₱1,780 base at the shoes marketplace rate (6.8%) is ₱121.04. Full table: commission rates by category.
Two breaks worth knowing: new sellers pay 0% commission for their first 90 days, and if TikTok hasn't assigned a rate to a new category yet, the default is 6.70% marketplace / 7.70% mall.
2. Transaction fee — 2.24%, but the base just changed
The rate has been 2.24% since June 2023. What changed on July 23, 2026 is what it's charged on: now it's (price after seller discount + customer-paid shipping fee). Before, it was customer payment minus refunds. If your buyers pay their own shipping, that shipping amount is now part of your fee base — small per order, real at volume.
One more thing sellers miss: if an order is returned after delivery, this fee is not refunded.
3. Shipping service fee — capped at ₱100 per item
5.5% for marketplace sellers, 5% for mall, calculated on the same price-minus-discount base, capped at ₱100 per item. Like the transaction fee, it stays with TikTok if the buyer returns the item after delivery.
4. Order processing fee — ₱5, currently ₱3
A flat fee per order. The list price is ₱5, but a promo running since December 1, 2025 cuts it to ₱3 "until further notice". Translation: it goes back to ₱5 whenever TikTok decides. Budget ₱5 if you plan margins conservatively.
5. Seller growth fee — the new one (April 2026)
Since April 27, 2026: 1% for Electronics, Grocery and Lifestyle products, 1.5% for Beauty & Personal Care, Fashion, Mom & Baby, and Health. Same price-minus-discount base.
The backstory: TikTok used to charge a 2% Bonus Cashback service fee to program participants. That went to 0%, the cashback program opened to all eligible sellers (Shop Experience Score ≥2.8 or under 36 violation points), and this smaller fee now applies to everyone. Net effect depends on whether you were in the old program — if you weren't, this is a straight new cost.
Optional: pre-order service fee
Listing pre-order products costs an extra 2% per item sold, on top of commission. Only applies if you opt into pre-orders (available since November 24, 2025).
What does it add up to?
For a typical ₱1,000 fashion item (marketplace seller, no shipping paid by customer): commission ₱70 + transaction ₱22.40 + shipping service ₱55 + processing ₱3 + growth fee ₱15 = ₱165.40, or 16.5% of your revenue. Run your own numbers in the fee calculator — rates vary enough by category that the difference matters.
Not counted here: affiliate commission (you set it), ads, and BIR withholding tax — those depend on your choices, not TikTok's rate card. Rates checked 2026-07-25 against Seller University PH. If something looks off in your Seller Center, trust the Seller Center and tell us.
